Before his tenure at UC, Ryan founded and presided over Lighthouse Consultants, an IT consultancy firm based in Houston. Through his entrepreneurial journey, Ryan honed his skills in identifying and recruiting top talent, shaping teams for success, and fostering a culture of excellence.

Outside the realm of technology, Ryan is deeply committed to making a difference in his community. He serves as a Board Member and Technology Chair for Ronald McDonald House Houston, leveraging his skills to support the organization's mission.
